Biography
I grew up in Southern California, in the town of Granada Hills. While in high school, I was on Student Council and a member of the swimming, softball, and gymnastics teams.
After high school, I attended Brigham Young University where I earned a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Exercise Science and Dance, and minoring in Spanish. I also received a Masters of Science, majoring in Kinesiology, from Brigham Young.
I have had the opportunity of teaching and coaching swimming at Mesa High for 34 years. I have also coached gymnastics and track for the Jackrabbits. I started teaching Physical Education and Dance at Mesa in 1975. Since 1983, my teaching assignment has been split between Spanish and Physical Education.
I love being a Jackrabbit! Mesa High is a great school with so many amazing traditions. The opportunities for the students here are endless.
