Monique Brandau-Assistant Principal
Hello Jackrabbits! I grew up in Boulder City, NV outside of Las Vegas and attended the University of Arizona to graduate with my BSBA in Marketing. I went on to spend six years in corporate America working in advertising, marketing and public relations for a large banking company and a Texas software developer in Austin.
I attended ASU and The University of Phoenix for graduate school where I received my M.A. Ed. in Secondary Education and then went on to get my Principal’s Certificate from Northern Arizona University. I spent a decade teaching business and coaching girls and boys volleyball for Tempe Union School District and Gilbert Public Schools and have been an Athletic Director/Administrator at their college preparatory school for the past two years.
My husband Ben teaches in Mesa and we have two children, Trenton (8) and Tatum Jane (6). I am thrilled to be a part of the Mesa High Jackrabbit community with its rich tradition, spirited staff, family feel and beautiful campus. Please stop by my office and introduce yourself anytime.
Have a wonderful 2017-18 school year!
