Mr. Michael Baser
I have taught at Mesa High since 1996. There is no place I would rather be. I have taught American History, U.S. Government, Student Council, Advanced Placement U.S. Government and Politics, Junior AVID, and now Senior AVID. Currently I teach 3 sections of AP Government, 1 section of Senior AVID, and I am the Social Studies Department Chair. Teaching gives me a great deal of joy. The students at Mesa High are wonderful and I consider myself lucky for the opportunity to teach and learn with them. Parents and students should feel free to contact me by email or telephone at any time.
As the subjects I teach may suggest, I am very interested in government and politics. Some websites I find helpful are listen below. They are hot links so click and browse. Some of them are fun as well as interesting.
On a personal note; I am married and between my wife and I we have five children and two grand children. I have had the pleasure of having three of those children as my students and I look forward to the youngest being in my class next year.
The photo below is of my beautiful wife and I in Alaska. Yes, it was July.
Thank you for visiting,
