Coach Renee' Landis
I was born in Norfolk, England and raised in Mesa, AZ. I was a Mesa High Jackrabbit, and graduated in 1999. While at MHS I was a member of the Euporea Dance Company as well as the Varsity Spiritline and Varsity track team. After high school I attended Arizona State University where I received a Bachelor's Degree is Secondary Education with a specialization in Physical Education. While pursuing my education at ASU I was a member of the Arizona State University Dance Team for three years. I then continued my education by getting my Master's degree in Bilingual/ Multicultural Education from Northern Arizona University. This is my 18th year teaching at MHS and I currently teach Hip Hop Dance, Beginning Dance and PE. I enjoy working with students and helping them to discover their passion for dance, sports and physical activity.
My life outside of school is just as busy as it is at school. I am married to a wonderful man who is also an educator teaching PE at Highland Jr High. We are proud parents to three Beautiful girls ages 11, 10 and 2 who keep us busy with competitive dance, club volleyball, singing and musical theatre. We also have a sweet little boy whose 9 and loves Football/Basketball just like Daddy. They are my pride and joy and make my life truly complete. We also have two crazy dogs named Defense and Starr who are just as much a member of our family as our children!!!
