Coach Renee' Landis
I was born in Norfolk, England and raised in Mesa, AZ. I was a Mesa High Jackrabbit, and graduated in 1999. While at MHS I was a member of the Euporea Dance Company as well as the Varsity Spiritline and Varsity track team. After high school I attended Arizona State University where I received a Bachelor's Degree is Secondary Education with a specialization in Physical Education. While pursuing my education at ASU I was a member of the Arizona State University Dance Team for three years. I then continued my education by getting my Master's degree in Bilingual/ Multicultural Education from Northern Arizona University. This is my 13th year teaching at MHS and I currently teach Hip Hop Dance and Beginning Dance. I enjoy working with students and helping them to discover their passion for dance, sports and physical activity.
My life outside of school is just as busy as it is at school. I am married to a wonderful man who is also an educator at Mesa High. He teaches boys physical education and helps coach the Boys Varsity Basketball team. We are proud parents to two Beautiful girls ages 7 and 5 who have the same love and passion for dance as me and a sweet little boy whose 4 and loves Basketball like Daddy. They are my pride and joy and make my life truly complete. We also have two crazy dogs named Defense and Starr who are just as much a member of our family as our children!!!
