In her 6th year of teaching at Mesa High, Ms. Rachel Brooks has taught a variety of classes. She has experience teaching Senior English, Junior English, Sophomore English, Freshman AVID, Sophomore AVID and now Freshman Academic Intervention with the Focus Cohort. She received her Bachelor's degree from Arizona State University in 2016 and is hoping to start a master's program within the year.
Ms. Brooks has experience with clubs. Within the past 6 years she has worked with Link Crew, Gingerbread House Making Club, Bring Change to Mind Club, and Student Council. She loves being involved and encourages her students to as well. Ms. Brooks as a graduate of Mesa High herself, loves and know the Mesa spirit well. This past year in 2021 she received the coveted Mesa Good Gal award for her willingness to help students and staff alike as they navigated going to school during a pandemic.
