Dear Parents,
The following contains information regarding mandatory rehearsals and performances as well as other items of importance to your son or daughter. Please read it through carefully and be sure to mark the important dates on your calendar.
Also, enclosed is also an ECA form. Please consider making an ECA donation (even $25.00 helps). With budget cuts and all of us on frugal alert, this is a positive way to make a difference, and for Arizona Tax Payers you will receive all of that money back on taxes next year (be sure to always council with a tax representative). See ECA information.
There are numerous ways for your child to become involved in the Theatre Arts Program. This program is designed to prepare and strengthen your child in the following areas, to name just a few:
Public Performance
College/Job Interviews
Public Speaking
Academic Classroom Presentations
Business Management
Creativity
Public Relations
Interpersonal Skills
Effective Communication
Collaborative Processes
Please be aware that the more effort your child puts forth in these endeavors, the more they will receive from the program. The attached calendar provides important dates, tournaments and conferences that take place during the year. Please note that the class performances are required for the class—students must attend. They are listed in bold. All other conferences, tournaments and competitions are extra curricular.
