HYC, or Helping Young Children, is a fairly new club here at Mesa High School. We focus on two main goals:
1) Building Leadership in our community.

2) Helping to provide rich lives for young children in our community.

We strive to build leadership in our community by creating a venue for Mesa High School students to provide aid to their community through public service. Most of our public service focuses on helping to enrich the lives of many needy children in our own community, through pen-pal programs, through mentor programs, "Breakfast with Santa," and through "Adopt-a-Family" programs. We worked with Holmes Elementary first grade students for the past few years and have had a wonderful impact on their lives. If this sounds like a club you would like to be a part of, then you should become a member of HYC!

Information on HYC can be found in Room 117 with Mrs. McEachen or in Room 127 with Mr. Garcia.
