Network

We are a network of teachers, students, administrators, and community organizations whose collaboration builds opportunities for youth service.

An Advisory Board of 25 youth and
adults from schools, community organizations, and businesses meets monthly to oversee the program.

     At the secondary level, the 7 high schools and 13 junior highs each have a “service learning coach,” a teacher who guides the school’s faculty
and students in a variety of
service learning activities.

     With less formal structure, Mesa’s 56 elementary schools are involved
with service learning. We are
in the beginning stage of an
expanded elementary
service learning program.
