S.H.Out! (Students Helping Out!) is a four-page newsletter written by Debbi Bertolet and published by the MPS Print Shop for Mesa educators and youth leaders. Contents include service and grant opportunities for youth service learning activities, upcoming service projects, reports on completed service learning projects, and resources and activity ideas for teachers K12.
To submit articles on successful service projects (including pictures and student reflections), or for listing on the "Service Opportunities” page, contact Mesa Service Learning. Submissions are welcome throughout the month as such items will also be regularly posted on this site under “Current News” and “Current Needs.”
