Mesa Service Learning offers training to educators K12 on how to integrate service learning into curriculum-based and extracurricular activities. Training is conducted by Debbi Bertolet and/or experienced service learning practitioners. Schools and community youth groups may contact Mesa Service Learning to arrange training sessions of any duration.

The next scheduled training will take place in the Spring of 2008 for 25 elementary school teachers interested in piloting our new training manual, “A Quick Guide to Service Learning in Elementary Schools.” Contact Mesa Service Learning to receive information on dates and times when it becomes available.

Summer Institute 2008, the Professional Development program set up by Mesa Public Schools, will offer basic courses on service learning in June. Registration is not yet available.
