We have two goals in the Toro strength program:

  1. Our training focuses on improving all aspects of human movement and athletic performance, the essential ingredient being the ability to lower the hip level while maintaining postural efficiency. We work to improve body control and balance, strength, power, lateral agility, and linear speed.
  2. PREVENTION OF INJURIES.

We accomplished these goals through the use of several different modalities including Olympic Lifting, Power Lifting, free weight exercises, band exercises, ball exercises, and body weight movements.

Equipment:
  • 16 Olympic platforms and squat racks
  • Colored competition Olympic discs
  • Rubber encased dumbbells
  • 8 bench press stations
  • Medicine balls
  • Stability balls
