| Welcome to the home of the Toro Throwers Club. 2007 Scholastic
Season
Toro Throwers Club is a registered member club of USA
Track and Field. Membership in the club is open to athletes of all ages
who want to train the two primary high school throwing events (shot
put and discus). The primary focus of the club is to develop throwers
for future participation in track and field at Mountain View High School
in Mesa, AZ. However, competitors from all age groups are encouraged
to join as well. The club competes in youth meets as well as masters
and open meets. Club athletes will have the opportunity to train with
the team, compete in the USATF State Championships, AZ Junior Olympic
Championships, Grand Canyon State Games, and other USATF competitions
