Since 1976  Mountain View High School Wrestling has traditionally been one of the strongest high school wrestling teams in the state of Arizona. 

In 2000 , the Toros won the Arizona 5A State Championship.  The Mountain View Wrestling Team has been State Runner-Up 8 times over the years.

Here is a list of summer wrestling opportunities.  Coach Callison's Summer schedule

June 4-9 Kingdom Club Summer Wrestling Camp

Last fall break we went to train at Kindom Klub and  decided to come back for summer.  Camp is $300 that is room and board.  I will need to charge for transportation unless we have some parents that want to travel to Utah for the week.  Please let me know, so If your son is planning to go.  So I can make final plans.

Bobby Douglas Former NCAA Winning Coach at ASU, and Olympians Jim Martinez, and James Johnson are scheduled to come to Mtn View June 11-14.  I have a code that you can put in to pay the $200 for this week.

USA Wrestling Kids Nationals  June 25 -27 Salt Lake City, UT  for ages 8-14

Arizona National Team Practices  July 1-July 13 Desert Vista, ASU for ages 15-18

There are many more opportunities to wrestle, and hope at the very least that our wrestlers attend a wrestling camp over the summer because summer wrestling makes winter champions.
