Kiwanis Club- (8) Scholarships are available for students graduating from a Mesa high school. The funds may be used for tuition toward the study of any type of profession or technology at an Arizona technical school, community college or university. Emphasis for selection is placed on school, community volunteer activities and intention to continue his/her education.

Got Milk? - The SAMMY 2012 Award Program recognizes outstanding high school seniors throughout the US. A standout scholar athlete could be one of the 25 winners. Selection criteria is based on 5 criteria: academic performance, athletic excellence, leadership, community service and milk experience essay. Deadline is March 19th, accepted online.

Juniors:
- Nordstrom Scholarship Program is offering 80 $10000 scholarships to current juniors. Be sure to check out the link and apply. Deadline is May 1, 2012
- Questbridge is seeking juniors who are academically strong students from low-income families (typically earning less than $60,000 per year). There are many oppotunities for high-achieving juniors from all-expense paid campus visits to one of the partnering colleges, full scholarships to college summer programs, invitations to QuestBridge's College Admissions Conference. Deadline is March 27, 2012
- The Career Center now has the application for the Mesa Mayor's Youth Committee. Mountain View is able to send in 4 appointees. Application deadline is April 27, 2012. Sophomores are also able to apply.
