Welcome to the beginning of another school year at Mountain View High School.  The following is some valuable information regarding completion of the student registration process for the 2018-19 school year.  The first day of class is Wednesday, August 8, 2018.  Student schedules will be available through the portal July 23.

Please note the following important information . . .

First Step. Go to Parent Portal and complete the following:

*Required Registration & Emergency Information

-  Address, Email, and Phone Changes:  It is very important that you let us know if you have a new physical address, phone number, or email address.  Proof of residence must be provided (i.e. utility bill, lease/rental papers, etc.).  You can link the supporting document with the form or you can bring these supporting documents to the office Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (or place in the drop box to the left of the front door after hours), fax them to 480-272-6983, mail them to Mountain View High, 2700 East Brown Road, Mesa, AZ, 85213, or email them to mvtregistration@mpsaz.org.  Computers are available for parents at the school for anyone without access to a computer at home.  Please check in at the office during regular business hours.  Non custodial parents (i.e., step parents without custody) will not be able to complete the online process.  If you do not have a parent portal, please bring ID to attendance.

 

*If you have moved, please call registration at 480-472-6948 and make sure your phone numbers are up to date, voicemail set up, and mailbox empty so you can receive communications.

Optional Forms To Return

You can bring these documents to the office Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (or place in the drop box to the left of the front door after hours), fax them to 480-472-6983, mail them to Mountain View High, 2700 East Brown Road, Mesa, AZ, 85213, or email them to mvtregistration@mpsaz.org.  All forms are fillable, but will need to be printed and received by the school in one of the above-mentioned methods. Student schedules will be available through the portal July 23. 

Distribution of Student I.D.’s and Devices

·T The First Step process above must be completed in order for students to pick up their device and I.D. card on the following dates:

* You will also need to print, read, sign (both parent and student) and bring with you the Technology Device User Agreement in order to pick up your device.

Tuesday, July 24, Freshmen 8 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m.

Wednesday, July 25, Sophomores 8 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m.

Wednesday, July 25, 6 to 8 p.m. (anyone who cannot come during the day)

Thursday, July 26, Juniors 8 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m.

Friday, July 27, Seniors 8 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m.

(The line to begin will form in the West hallway of the Administration Building.  Please follow the signs.)      

Distribution of Parking Stickers

Only students with parking permits are allowed to park in any student authorized parking spots.  Parking stickers for senior and junior students who fill out and complete the application with all additional documentation will be distributed on Monday, August 6, and Tuesday, August 7, in the South lot of bus loading area from 6 to 10 a.m.

First Day of School

First hour will begin at 8 a.m.  Please remember there is no A-hour class on Wednesdays, including the first day of school.  Bring your device with you to school.  You will not be given a copy of your schedule.  If you want a paper copy of your schedule, print one off from your portal. 1st Day Bell Schedule.

Open House

Please join us for Mountain View High's annual Open House on Tuesday, August 14, from 6 to 8 p.m.  You will have the opportunity to follow your student's schedule, meet teachers, and learn about each subject your student is enrolled in.
