Biography

I received my bachelor's degree in upstate New York (Oswego State College) in both French and Psychology. My senior year of college was spent in France where I studied French and Art at the famous Sorbonne University in Paris! When I returned home to the states, I was interested in studying Art, so I  enrolled in art school in Vermont (Johnson State College)  and enjoyed skiing! I  then came to Arizona (where my family lived) and received my BFA (Bachelors of Fine Art degree) along with my teaching certificate in both French and Art. My first year of teaching was part-time in Art  at Fremont in 1987 , then I went on to teach full- time at Rhodes Jr. High in both French and Art for 10 years, followed by 3years teaching Drawing at Dobson High and Rhodes. I returned to Fremont to teach full time Art for 12years and am now very excited to be part of the Fine Arts Dept. here at Mt. View teaching Drawing. This is where I've wanted to be!
