Brenda Barta MS, CCC-SLP
My name is Brenda Barta and I am the speech-language pathologist serving the needs of students with communication impairments at Mountain View High School. This is my 23rd year with Mesa Public Schools and I have worked at Mt View for the past 2 years. I hold a Certificiate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and I am licensed by the Arizona Department of Health Services. I specialize in speech and language disorders that impact secondary-aged students.
I was born and raised in Cavalier, North Dakota. My husband, Chad and I moved to Arizona in 1997 and we love the desert and the warm weather. Chad is the Co-Owner and Director of Operations for Heliponents Inc. at Falcon Field in Mesa. We have two sons, Noah and Eli. Noah is currently attending Northern Arizona University where he is majoring in Business administration and playing football. As you can guess, we are huge Lumberjack fans!!! My younger son Eli is a sophomore at Mt View. He enjoys representing the Toros on the football field and the wrestling mat. My husband and I can be found cheering for our boys at all of their events.
