Erin Lillo was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona, where she currently lives with her husband Mike and their two children, Jada and Mikey.
She earned a B.A. in English and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Arizona State University as well as an M.F.A. in Writing, fiction and poetry, from Vermont College of Fine Arts.
In addition, Erin taught at Highland High School in Gilbert, Arizona, for ten years prior to joining the Mountain View community in 2015-2016. She enjoys interacting with her colleagues, helping students discover their voices, and working with parents and other members of Toro Nation.
When she isn't teaching, Erin enjoys reading, writing, watching live music, and the occasional game of bowling with family and friends.
