Impact of the Railways Handout
AA World History/Geography is a rigorous course designed for advanced students who would like to combine writing skills with the study of World History and the humanities. This course uses an interrelated chronological approach, and prepares students for college prep courses. The curriculum traces the development of civilizations from early pre-historic people to the present and includes the teaching of geographic concepts. NOTE: This is a weighted course.
In AA World History/Geography, we try to cover the history of the world in about 10 months! As you can imagine, this is a very difficult task. We try to cover the basics of ancient and modern civilizations, as well as discuss important figures and events that have occurred throughout history.
