My name is Mr. Perry Forster and I currently teach Traffic Safety at Mountain View High School. GO TOROS!  I was born in North Dakota and spent the majority of my education career in Minnesota. My undergraduate degree is in business from Dickinson State University. I have a M.S. degree in Educational Leadership and an Ed.S. degree in Educational Leadership. (Little known fact: the first time I taught Driver Education was 1991!)  :)

I have 4 children, Max, Madison, Jack, and Kate. My daughter Madison recently married Michael. Charlie the West Highland Terrier is also a big part of our family.

I have been a part of coaching youth sports for 28 years starting during college. I have coached and advised a variety of activities; including basketball, tennis, track, one-act play, speech and DECA. I was lucky to be part of an amazing run as the varsity assistant coach with the Edina Hornet Varsity Girls Tennis Team and Coach Steve Paulsen. EHS Girls Tennis won 19 consecutive Minnesota State Championships! It was one of the great joys of my life watching the numerous accomplishments those teams achieved. I still operate a youth tennis camp in Minnesota during the summer months for grades K-8.

I am a huge sports fan!  Pittsburgh Steelers, Iowa Hawkeye's, ASU Sun Devils, Boston Celtics, Minnesota Twins!

I love Mountain View and really enjoy working with our students to become safe, courteous drivers. Driving a vehicle is a privilege and all of us should continue to learn how to be safe and courteous drivers throughout our life. In tense driving situations a smile goes a long way :)
