Ms. Beki Stallings
Creating things is what I love to do - ceramics, working with glass, fabric, yarn, food, pastels and plain old graphite pencils. I feed off the pleasure and pride completing a project gives me and sharing that feeling with my students gives me great satisfaction. Patience and perseverance are two characteristics that get a good work out in Stained Glass classes.
I have certification in two fields, CTE Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) and Visual Arts. I have been teaching Stained Glass for eight years at Mountain View High School. I spent three years at Taylor Junior High teaching General Art courses and my first year in Arizona was here at Mountain View in the FACS department. While living in Missouri, I taught primarily in the Family and Consumer Sciences department with an emphasis on Clothing and Fashion Design. During that time span I also taught: Foods I and II, Child Development I and II, Child Care Practicum, Human Relations, Consumer Economics and Health.
