¡Hola! Me llamo Tiffani Nyseth. Originalmente, soy de Wisconsin. Me gradué de la Universidad de Wisconsin – Eau Claire. I received a double major in Secondary Education and Spanish. I also received a minor in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). During my sophomore year at Eau Claire, I studied abroad in Seville, Spain for five months. While in Spain I visited Barcelona, Granada, Marbella, Málaga, and Cádiz. I also traveled through Southern Europe and Northern Africa. During my senior year in college, I studied abroad in Cuernavaca, México. In México I visited Mexico City, Zihuatanejo, Acapulco, Oaxaca, Taxco, and Puebla.
I moved to Arizona in 2003 and began teaching at Poston Junior High in the fall of 2003. I started teaching at Mountain View the next year, and I have loved it here ever since. I received my Masters of Education from Northern Arizona University in Bilingual and Multicultural Education in 2007.
I love to travel and to learn about other cultures. I took a group of students to Cuernavaca, Mexico for 2 weeks during the summer of 2007. I have also traveled to Morocco, Italy, France, Portugal, Jamaica, St. Lucia, Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands.
I feel very fortunate to teach at Mountain View High School. I LOVE MY JOB! It makes me proud to see my students succeed. I have extremely high expectations, and I guarantee they will learn in my class. I also coordinate our MenTORO program and assist with our Toro Link program.
