Biography
I was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. After graduating from Mesa High, I attended Arizona State University and received my BA in Secondary Education English. I taught English, Theatre and Forensics at Red Mountain for nine years.I received my MAEd from Northern Arizona University in Secondary Speech Communications. I moved to Ohio with her husband and daughter where she taught English, Theatre and Forensics at Berea High School and coached Forensics at Barberton High School. After my daughter graduated from high school and moved on to Defiance College in Ohio, I returned to Mesa with my husband to be closer to my roots. I feel honored to teach at Mountain View High School
I teach Fundamentals of English I, Literary Explorations, and Principles of English III. I am one of the Speech and Debate coaches here on campus. I also teach a literature at Wayland Baptist University in Phoenix.
I look forward to school each and every day. It is amazing to see students grow into young adults who will in turn become life-long learners and the next leaders of our country. This to me is amazing!
