Native American Games and Stories


Game Playing is a pastime enjoyed by most people. Native American are no exception. The origin of many games were with tribal gods.  Because of this, games were played ceremonially to bring rain, ensure good harvest, cure illness, or give pleasure to the gods by demonstrating physical fitness.  Native American told stories along with the games to teach children about animals, universe and creation of The People.
