MPS provides free summer breakfast, lunch
The program begins June 1 at more than 30 school and community sites. Don't go hungry this summer.
Starting June 1, Mesa Public Schools families can enjoy breakfast and lunch at more than 30 school and community locations.
All sites will serve lunch, and most will serve breakfast. Free meals will be provided to all children ages 18 and younger. Many sites will offer adult meals at a discount price.
The school district's Food and Nutrition Department employees will serve the meals. MPS does not want any of our community’s children to go hungry this summer.
Summer Food Service is a U.S. Department of Agriculture Child Nutrition Program. It ensures that low-income children continue to receive nutritious meals when school is not in session. The free meals meet federal nutrition guidelines.
