School board honors Employees of the Month
Winners were recognized for outstanding teaching and support services that make a difference in the lives of MPS students and staff.
Julie Sanders, an Employee of the Month, saved the life of a Kino Junior High student. She didn't expect to be recognized for her heroism. Colleagues are proud and grateful to work with her.
The school board and superintendent honored Educators and Classified Employees of the Month in April. Read the winners' tributes:
- Mary Christen, special education teacher, Taylor Junior High
