Class of 2012 tops $78.6 million in scholarship offers

Seniors in Mesa Public Schools were offered the highest amount of scholarships and awards in district history — nearly $5.6 million more than last year.

Westwood grads in 2012Graduates at Westwood High School received the most — $21.9 million in scholarship and award offers.

In all, 1,372 (or 38 percent) of the district's graduating seniors at seven high schools were offered 3,696 scholarships and awards. 

This year's total of $78,637,751 exceeds last year's offers by $5,569,776!
