MPS space program gains national attention

National acclaim and two new space stations are on the horizon.

Colleen Howard and Karri West have helped Mesa students take simulated trips to space for more than four years through Mesa Public Schools’ Space Integration Module (SIM).

Soon, students across the country may also have the opportunity to "blast off" and experience simulated space travel as well. The duo will have the opportunity to share details about the SIM format with educators from across the country on Feb. 6 during the Space Exploration Educators Conference at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston.
