My name is Jade Faust and this is my 6th year working with Mesa Public Schools. I am a product of Mesa Public Schools, from Kindergarten at Red Mountain Ranch to Shepherd to Red Mountain High School. I started off my career in Special Education as an Instructional Assistant at SHARP for two years in an ED classroom. While I was an IA, I worked a second job as a provider for a wide variety of disabilities and ages. My third year into my Special Education career, I decided to become a Special Education teacher. My first year as a teacher, I taught secondary MI/MO students. I then decided to try working with elementary ED (2nd, 3rd and 4th grade) here at O'Connor Elementary. I have been at O'Connor for 2 years and love everything this school stands for. This is my first year in general education and am looking forward to what this school year may bring.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and my dog, Copper. My husband and I are expecting our first child in December and cannot be any more excited. We love to be outside camping, hiking, going up north to the cooler weather, and to the beach. Overall, we just love to explore and be adventurous. Summer of 2016, I ran my very first half marathon with my mom at the Grand Tetons in Wyoming and survived!
My goal for this year is to provide students with the necessary resources to be successful individuals outside in the community and in their learning environments.
I am looking forward to this new school year and working with each of you.
