Biography

I am one of the fifth grade teachers here at O'Connor. I have been teaching 29 years all for Mesa Public Schools.  I graduated from Arizona State University-Go Devils!  I received my masters degree from Northern Arizona University, making me a Lumberjill, not a Lumberjack.

I am one of the founding members of the O'Connor staff.  While teaching here I have taught first, second, and fifth grades.  Prior to O'Connor I taught a couple of years at Whitman Elementary in first and second grades.

In the summertime I am busy working for the City of Mesa Aquatics Department. I am the competitive specialist coordinating the swim, dive, and synchronized swimming programs.   Swimming is an important aspect of my life. I am  I love being around all  forms of water.  In the fall I have been an assistant swim coach for Red Mountain High School for the past 3 years.
