I am so excited to start my second year as the school psychologist at Taft and Patterson Elementary Schools! My roles as a school psychologist include evaluating students for special education services, collaborating with teachers and parents for behavior and academic concerns, assisting with academic and behavioral interventions, meeting with students, and advocating for children. This is my second year as a Mesa Public Schools psychologist, and prior to this I was a school psychologist in the Kyrene Elementary School District. I received by Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Radford University (Go Highlanders!) and went straight through to a graduate program at Radford where I obtained by Masters in Psychology, as well as my Educational Specialist (Ed.S) degree in School Psychologist. I am a certified school psychologist in the state of Arizona, and I am an active member of the Arizona Association of School Psychologist (AASP), and the National Association of School Psychologist (NASP).
I am originally from New York, but moved to Virginia as a teenager and stayed until my last year of graduate school. I decided to complete my internship in Arizona where I also met my now husband. In my free time I like to go to the gym, watch Netflix and scary movies, camp, cook, sing, and spend time with friends and family (and my fur babies Sandy and Charlee).
