Information about rapid! PayCard®
An alternative to traditional direct deposit
To ensure employees have immediate access to their earnings, and to reduce district costs, Mesa Public Schools stopped issuing paper paychecks Oct. 12, 2017.
Employees who do not wish to sign up for traditional direct deposit will be registered for a rapid! PayCard, which will be loaded with their earnings each payday morning.

What is the rapid! PayCard?
The rapid! PayCard is a MasterCard debit card that replaces your paper paycheck and is funded by direct deposit.
Is the rapid! PayCard a credit card?
No. Pay owed to you is direct deposited into your paycard and can be used at millions of locations that accept MasterCard debit cards, and at most ATMs worldwide.
When will my payroll funds be available?
Your pay will typically be available by 10 a.m. EST each payday morning. Check your balance anytime by calling 1-877-380-0980 or visit rapidfs.com.
How do I use my paycard?
Use it at millions of merchants that accept MasterCard debit cards, including online and over the phone.
Withdraw funds from a surcharge-free Allpoint ATM. These ATMs are all over the valley in places such as Fry's, Walmart, Walgreens, Target and Circle K. Click the Allpoint ATM locator button on this page to search for an ATM near you.
Pay bills with your card by using your card's routing and account numbers to set up one-time or recurring payments online or by phone.
What happens if I lose my rapid! PayCard?
Most importantly, your money is protected with MasterCard Zero Fraud Liability. Just call 1-877-380-0980 to report it lost/stolen and request a new card, or visit Payroll at 63 E. Main St., 6th floor.
What happens if my card is about to expire?
Call 1-877-380-0980 to verify your address as Rapidpay will send you a new card about three weeks before it expires.
Is this payroll direct deposit different from other types of direct deposit?
No. The funds are deposited on your card immediately. The only difference is this is a prepaid card account and not a checking account.
Now that I no longer get a paper check, how do I see my pay stubs?
If you have not already registered to view your pay stubs through the iVisions Employee Self Service portal, you can begin HERE. The first time you visit the website you will need to register. There is information on the linked page to assist you with registering. After you've registered you can view your pay stubs from any computer with internet access.
