I believe that teachers must be passionate about their profession, be an advocate for children and education, and that being a life-long learner is an enriching, challenging, and rewarding pursuit.

I have been an educator for 33 years and part of the Pomeroy staff for 30 years, but I have been teaching for as long as I can remember.  From "playing school" in the neighborhood, from pre-school to adults, and to the students I have now, I have enjoyed each moment of my chosen profession.

My goal is to provide guidance and a positive learning environment in which students grow academically and personally. I want each year to be enjoyable and challenging as I continue to build a strong academic foundation based on the core standards.  My priority is to insure the best possible education for your child and to encourage your child to become a life-long learner.
