Hi there students and families of room 13!
My name is Megan Crider, and I am beyond excited to be your teacher this year! This is my fifth year teaching for Mesa Public Schools, but my very first year at Wilson Elementary! I am so excited to be joining the wildcat team as your 3rd grade teacher for this school year! We are going to have tons of fun learning and growing together in 3rd grade.
Here is a little bit about me:
My first day of teaching! Me in 3rd grade (middle!)
Originally, I am from Washington State. After graduating from high school, I decided to move to Arizona to attend Arizona State University (GO DEVILS!). I graduated with my Bachelor's in Elementary Education with a minor in Family and Human Development.
I've had experience in grades 2nd through 4th, and did a full year of student teaching in 3rd grade in the Mesa Public School District. I absolutely love everything about 3rd grade and I'm so excited to be the one who gets to fill the mind of your kiddo with all sorts of knowledge!
In my free time, I love to read, shop, craft, and play with my puppy, Zoey. I have a strong passion for education and my goal is to pass that love for learning on to all my students.
It is my job to ensure your child's success for the entire school year, and I promise to do everything in my power to give each student a positive experience in my classroom both personally and academically. Together we will work as a team to create the greatest possible learning environment for your child!
If you ever need anything, or if you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at any time! I will get back to you as soon as I can.
Let's make the rest of the year a blast!
