The Mesa Public Schools Music Department MISSION STATEMENT:
Our mission is to provide opportunities for all students
to develop their potential for musical understanding and expression through exploration,
experimentation, exposure and enrichment.
For those of you that do not know me, allow me to introduce myself! My name is Paul
Anderson. I am so glad I have this opportunity to teach your child the
never-ending wonders of music. I received my BA in Music Education from Wichita State
University and my Masters Degree in Business from the University of Phoenix. My main
instrument is percussion/drums. My experiences in the music industry are very extensive. I
have recorded and performed with many acts in all styles of music ranging from jazz,
country, classical, Latin and pop. I believe that all of my experiences and teaching
styles help a great deal in making music a fun and enjoyable experience for all the ages.
