Mrs. Amber Marquez-Wells
Fifth Grade, Room 16

I am a passionate life learner, teacher, wife, and mother.

I graduated from ASU East in 2003, with a Bachelor’s degree in Education, and a double minor in Spanish and Humanities.  I have taught  for 15 years both in fifth and sixth grade. I love this age, and the energy and curiosity about learning that they have!

Personally, I have 4 wonderful children, ages 18 down to 8 years old. The 3 oldest are boys and the youngest is a girl. My husband and I have been married for almost 4 years now. Our blended family loves traveling, serving projects, the outdoors, and playing sports.

Professionally, I strive for excellence in cooperative learning, peer and teacher relationships, and making learning fun and engaging with science and social studies integration.

This year we will be focused on increasing critical thinking and real-world problem solving using STEM strategies. We are excited to have a STEM lab, and personal lab tops to research on.

I am looking forward to teaching your child and making memories along the way! Thank you for this opportunity!

Please feel free to contact me at any time.  I am available by email or phone.  You can leave me a voicemail, and I will get back to you!
