Mrs. Rosanne Carlson
Room 23

I have been in the Mesa Public School District for 31 years and I currently teach 3rd grade. I am originally from Iowa and moved  to Arizona with my family after high school. I graduated from Arizona State University with my Bachelor of Arts in Education and earned my Master's in Education from A.S.U. I have taught Kindergarten,1st, 2nd, E.L.D. and 4th grade. I have 2 sons, Christopher and Patrick.

I was very fortunate to be nominated by my principal, Paula Warren and our Title 1 Specialist Katherine Burgess to be a Rodel Exemplary Teacher for 2015. I was chosen as one of the Rodel teachers for the state of Arizona and now have the privilege of working with and mentoring Rodel student teachers.

Last fall, I was nominated and selected as the A.S.U. Mentor Teacher of the Year from the Mary Lou Fulton Teaching College. This award was very special to me as A.S.U. is an excellent teaching college and my alma mater.
