Poston Registration for 2008-09 Classes
Poston counselors will be distributing registration forms to sixth graders at their elementary schools during the week of January 14. Current seventh and eighth graders will receive their registration materials from counselors on Thursday, January 17.

Completed registration packets for seventh grade are due back to sixth grade teachers by Monday, January 28. Completed packets for eighth and ninth grades are due back to the student's social studies teacher also by Monday, January 28. Please call the Poston Counseling Office at 472-2050 with questions regarding registration or junior high coursework.
Mountain View Registration 10th Grade for 2008-09
Mountain View counselors will be distributing registration information and forms to Poston ninth grade students on Friday January 18. This information will be given out during their math class.
Parent Information Night, January 22, 2008, Mountain View Auditorium
High School course selection for ninth graders, as well as information on diploma options, post high school options and graduation requirements will be addressed. This is an opportunity for parents to get acquainted with Mountain View's policies and procedures. Completed packets with needed signatures will be picked up by Mountain View counselors at Poston on Friday, January 25. If you have any questions regarding registration or coursework, please call Mountain View counseling at 472-6915.
Sophomore AA English/Block Testing
For students wishing to apply for AA-Block Accelerated Sophomore English program, applications are available from Poston English teachers. They are due back to English teachers by December 12. Please attach a self-addressed stamped envelope to the back of the application. Please call MVHS Counseling office at 472-6915 if you have questions about the application process for tenth grade accelerated English programs.
The two and one-half hour writing test will take place at the following locations and times:
