Student Identification Card*
The ID card is used for identification purposes only and does not provide discounts. There is NO CHARGE for this card. Every student is required to carry a Poston Junior High School photo ID card while on campus or when involved in a school activity. Replacement ID cards cost $2.00.
Student Activity Card*
Students may purchase a Poston Junior High School Activity / ID card for $10.00. Activity cards will have "Activity" printed on them. The purchase of an activity card will provide a $2.00 discount on the purchase of a Poston yearbook, discounts for admission costs to freshman "away" and some high school sporting events, as well as tickets to Poston functions. Replacement Activity / ID Cards cost $2.00.
*Student ID pictures are taken each May for the following school year. Each student ID card is mailed out as the final step in processing the registration packet received over the summer. Any student who did not have his/her picture taken in May will receive a temporary ID card to use. Instructions for obtaining a permanent photo ID card will be printed on the temporary ID card. Do not lose this card. Replacement temporary ID cards cost $2.00. Replacement ID cards may be purchased at the Bookstore. Please contact the Bookstore Manager, Mrs. Lehl, at 472-2059 if you have any questions.
Book Lockers
Students may rent a book locker that has a built-in combination lock for $3.00 for the school year. We encourage parents to include payment for the locker rental fee when they return the student's mail-in registration paperwork as students who don't reserve their lockers at that time may have to wait until the second week of school to receive one. During the school year, students may stop by the Bookstore between 8:30 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. to rent a locker. Please understand that the school will not assume responsibility for textbooks or other items taken from lockers. The combination locks on the book lockers can be tricky to open.

Yearbook Purchasing Information
Please keep in mind that only those students who pay for a yearbook during Registration or at the Bookstore through December 1, 2008 will be guaranteed receiving one at the end of the school year. The cost of a yearbook is $25 with an ID card only and for $23 with the purchase of an activity card. If you miss the deadline, we may have a very limited number of extra yearbooks available the day after pre-sold yearbooks are distributed in May. Any extra yearbooks will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost at that time will be $30 for everyone.
End-of-the-Year DVD Purchasing Information
The End-Of-The-Year DVD set captures many of the great moments from the year. The set includes 7th, 8th and 9th grade sports, musical events, our weekly videos, special events, campus life, video clips from world events and a teacher section. Don't miss out on your Year in Review: Memories for a Lifetime! The DVD set can be purchased for $12. The cost at the end of the school year will be $15.
School Supplies
The Bookstore opens each morning at 8:30 a.m. and closes each afternoon at 3:45 p.m. Students are welcome to stop by the Bookstore throughout the day to purchase supplies, replacement ID cards, yearbooks, end-of-year DVD's PE clothes and to rent lockers.
