Welcome to my web page.  I was born and raised in sunny Southern California, in a suburb of LA called Granada Hills.  This year will mark my 12th year with Mesa Public Schools.  Along with teaching, my work with the youth includes coaching youth basketball, serving as an instructor to church youth groups, the Boys Scouts of America, and supervising After-School programs. This will be my 9th year as a Poston Panther and I am currently teaching 7th grade Social Studies.  I am currently state certified in both History and Language Arts, with an endorsement in Reading.

I am our school's MIPE (Mesa Independent Professional Educators) Representative. I have served as a board member for the past three years.

My hobbies include being involved in almost all kinds of sports.  I am a huge fan of the Lakers, Dodgers, Raiders and college sports.  I love the beach, being outdoors, going to movies, reading books, and listening to great music and spending time with my family.

It has been said, "Success is the power to achieve our purpose, to accomplish the desired end. Success is the outcome, the consequence of right choices."

My objective is to always be there for my students helping them achieve their personal best both in their academic and personal lives.  My students have been, can be, and will be successful in my class through hard work and effort.
