I am Natalie Guest and I have been teaching here at Poston Junior High since 2013. I earned by BS in Biology (emphasis in Science Education) from Humboldt State University, located along the rainy Redwood coast of Northern California. I then went on to receive my Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from Arizona State University. Teaching science is a true passion of mine and I believe this coming year will have some exciting opportunities in store. While I have previously taught both 7th and 8th grade sciences, I have found that 7th graders have a special place in my heart; I love encouraging their enthusiasm for science as they enter junior high, therefore I now teach only 7th grade science.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy exploring local eats, attending live music events, and discussing life with my kittens. In addition to my classroom duties, I also serve as your Poston Athletic Director! I have coached both the Panther girls' and boys' volleyball teams since 2013-14, in addition to several USAVB club teams in Arizona. While I no longer coach these fine individuals, I have the amazing pleasure to oversee all of our student-athletes. Perhaps I'll see you at a game this year cheering on our Panthers!
