Biography
A native of Superior, Arizona, I graduated from Superior High School in 1988. I attended South Mountain Community College on an athletic scholarship where I earned my Associate of Arts Degree. I then attended Arizona State University earning a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Secondary Education in Business. In 2000, I earned a Masters of Arts Degree in Secondary Education/Technology at Northern Arizona University.
I began my teaching career at Superior High School where I taught business and coached basketball and softball. After teaching in Superior, I taught Math at the East Valley Institute of Technology for seven years. In 2004, I began teaching Business at Powell. I served as the Instructional Specialist and Team Leader for one year each and now returning to the classroom as a CTE and AVID Instructor.
I am currently enrolled in the Educational Leadership Doctoral program at Northern Arizona University.
