Principal's Cornerram

Greetings Parents/Guardians:
I write this letter to you to let you know that I will be leaving Redbird Elementary at the end of this school year. Although I am excited about beginning a new chapter in my life, I will miss everyone at Redbird. I have loved working with your children, the incredible staff and you. I thank you for your support of Redbird Elementary.

The search for a new principal for the 2018-2019 school year is beginning. Through a survey, parents and staff will have the opportunity to share with the district what characteristics are most important to successfully lead Redbird.
Thank you for sharing your children with me this year. I hope that I have helped to make their education one that will benefit them throughout their lives. I have every confidence they will continue to make us proud!

Terri Clark-Ringland

ida**We remember Ida Redbird on her birthday March 15, 1892, 106 years ago this year! She was a famous master pottery maker, native to Arizona using native techniques and materials, who demonstrated her talent in school districts and at the Heard Museum.

She had many Champion traits such as patience, diligence, humbleness, always doing her best work. She passed away 46 years ago on October 10, 1971 at the age of 79.

mpsParent Portal Account

Parent involvement is key in your child's academic success. The MyMPS Parent portal is there to help you with that. You can view your child's:

Grades (not Elementary)                                         Attendance
Teacher's comments                                               Calendar
School information                                                 *And more

This Portal account is a MUST for you to be able to re-register your student for the 2018-2019 school year. You can view and verify that the information the school has is correct and up to date. PLEASE TAKE CARE OF THIS BEFORE SUMMER. It makes the beginning process of the new school year easier than if you wait to do it then.

If you have children at more than one school in the district, you will need to visit only one of the schools; one Activation Key will give you access to all the children in your family.

Please stop by the front office with an ID to pick up an Activation Key to open an account if you do not have one yet

A free application for your Smartphone is available- learn more at:
