Happy Holidays!!ram

I can't believe we are already half way through the 2017-2018 school year!!! Even though I've only been here half a year, I feel so proud to be part of the Redbird Community! I sure hope this holiday season brings a sense of joy and happiness to you and all of your family! I also know this season can be a very stressful time of year, so please be aware that your children can pick up on every emotion you are feeling--- try to keep adult issues to just the adults! Please let us know if we can help with anything! I look forward to seeing everyone in 2018 and making the second half of the year better than the first!!

Bzzz- Have you heard about the Spelling Bee practices that are happening in Redbirdbee classrooms recently? Yes, this is for the upcoming Spelling Bee (sponsored by the Arizona Educational Foundation) on Tuesday, Dec. 19th. Grades 4-6 are participating and the contest shall be held in the Multi-purpose Room from 1:30-2:30 PM.

Good News:

paintThe Art Department at Redbird is pleased to announce that two of our students have been selected to participate in the District's Traveling Art Show. Trinity Marin (5th) and Michelle Tran (6th) had artwork accepted into the exhibition. These artworks will travel to Mesa Public Schools Elementary Media Centers for a total of 3 years. 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students in each of Mr. Scott Krenytzky's 5 schools submitted entries and 30 were chosen.
Congratulations to these two talented, young artists!
