Biography

Damon Timm has taught sixth grade at Redbird since 1991. Before Redbird, he taught for two years at Salk Elementary. After graduating from Arizona State University, he began his teaching career at Alma School Elementary in January of 1978. He taught there for five years. He then left the profession for seven years. Mr. Timm returned in 1989 because he missed teaching so very much. Damon loves teaching at Redbird. He says that the Redbird students are fantastic. Please feel free to visit his classroom at any time and assist your child with his/her education.

Mr. Timm has been fortunate enough to be honored with teaching awards during his career. These include: "Who's Who Among America's Teachers," " National Honor Roll's Outstanding American Teachers, and " Rodel Exemplary Teacher - 2005."  Additionally, he has an ESL endorsement.
