Biography

Mrs. Sarah Funtowicz is beginning her 7th year teaching at Ida Redbird Elementary School.   She graduated from Arizona State University in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and is currently pursuing a master's degree from Northern Arizona University in Bilingual Education with an English as a Second Language emphasis.  In addition to teaching at Redbird she also sponsors the Redbird Garden Club and presents a biannual workshop for families of preschool children about child development.  She lives in Mesa with her husband,daughter and two cats.
