Screening      Program Hours      Registration      Absences

Here is a handy Developmental Checklist from AZEIP with some milestones your child should be reaching between ages 1-5.

What do I do if I want my child screened?  You can call Theresa Przeslicke at (480)472-0703 to schedule a screening if you have developmental concerns about your child.

What happens at the screening?  At the screening the screener will administer a basic assessment for all domains and if the child does not pass they would be scheduled for an evaluation to see if they qualify for our program.    (top)

What days does the program run?     If your child qualifies this program would serve your child three days a week for 2 1/2 hours a day.  Your child would be placed in a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday program or a Tuesday, Thursday, Friday program.  They would also be placed in either the AM class or PM class, depending on their age, the younger ones are in the AM.

We do have a couple special programs that a child must qualify for, that run four days a week.  They run everyday but Wednesday, with the same hours as stated above.    (top)

What is required to register my child once I have qualified for Special Education Preschool Services?

To register students new to the district, please bring the student's birth certificate, current immunization record and proof of residency. You may register during school office hours. (8:00am-3:00pm)  (top)
