Rhodes Junior High serves students in grades 7, 8, and 9. Enrollment for the 2008-2009 school year is approximately 1000 students. Rhodes Junior High is a comprehensive junior high with a tradition of strong core academic instruction while boasting an impressive array of elective course offerings.

Rhodes offers many extracurricular opportunities for students. Students are encouraged to participate in sports teams and student clubs or organizations.

Mission Statement : “Rhodes Jr. High World Studies Academy challenges its students to strive for academic excellence by providing rigorous and relevant learning experiences through integrating content areas to better understand the fabric of the diverse American cultures and our interconnectedness to other peoples and nations of the world. Rhodes students will show a keen sense of empowerment, tolerance, and respect as democratic citizens of our American Republic and world community as a whole.”

Inquirers - WSA students acquire skills that allow them to research ideas and topics independently and develop a curiosity that leads them to become lifelong learners.
Critical Thinkers -WSA students apply high level thinking skills in order to make sense of the world issues they face.
Culturally Aware -WSA students have a high level of awareness of cultural differences across the globe. They value and appreciate the diversity of different cultures and understand the role these cultures play in shaping the political, economic and environmental issues of the past, present, and future.
