Chess Club

CLUB/ORGANIZATION INFO:

Chess Club is held on-campus through association with Chess Emporium and is open to all grade levels and all levels of skill. Studies by major corporations and universities have shown that chess can help students increase their math and verbal skills, as well as their creative and critical thinking abilities.

HOW TO JOIN:

Submit a Chess Club application. Space is limited; early registration is advisable.

MEETINGS / FEES:

Chess Club meets Tuesday mornings, 8:00 - 8:55 a.m. from beginning January 26 (may exclude late-start days; check with advisor). Tuition is $99 per semester (see application). Tournament fees are not included.
