Yearbook
CLUB/ORGANIZATION
INFO:
Yearbook
teaches the basic skills necessary to write and produce
a school yearbook. Students will participate in theme development,
planning and organizational structure of the school yearbook.
Spreads will be created using Adobe Pagemaker templates
and plug-ins and follow theory on layout and design. Students
will take digital photographs, crop photos using Photoshop,
conduct interviews and write copy.
The
school yearbook is 100% student produced; then published
and bound by Herff Jones. A total of 124+ pages are created
and sold in hard cover to over 1000 students and staff.
An A or B in English is required and a background in computers
is recommended. Teacher signature on registration materials
is required.
Don't
miss out on this amazing opportunity to "make history".
